The European Lawyers’ Association (ELA) is an alumni organisation for lawyers who have participated in the European Young Lawyers’ Scheme or the European Lawyers’ Programme in London or Edinburgh.

The ELA aims to consolidate and expand the network established by the scheme and the programme and through that network to promote a greater mutual understanding of the legal systems of European countries, in order that members can provide a more comprehensive legal service. In particular, the ELA seeks to continue, strengthen and improve the links with practitioners in the United Kingdom.
